I started working in my church nursery when I was 12. My first career was in Music Therapy, and then I switched to Music Education (elementary). I’ve stopped working outside the home but I never stop working: I’m in the sandwich generation. My sister and I take sister trips to DisneyWorld as often as we can.

My family loooooves to travel for fun. When we’re not scooting over to Florida, we head west to the mountains where we visit my husband’s family and hike. We watch a lot of movies, read a lot of books, and play a lot of instruments.

I wake up wondering if the weather is good enough for a run, I feed the cat and take the dog for a walk, and then I hit the happy trail.
